Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ishkhan Saghatelyan has said that during the protests demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, 24 people had been arrested.
“Since April 25, 48 citizens have been detained, 24 of them have been arrested. And now the courts are considering petitions for arrests,” Armenian media outlets quote Saghatelyan as saying on June 4.
He noted that a total of nearly 2,500 members of the resistance movement were detained since the start of anti-government rallies.
