Pakistan, Azerbaijan agree to expand business, economic ties

Pakistan and Azerbaijan agreed on expanding business and economic ties.

The news made headlines in the media outlets based in Pakistan this week, according to Report.

The decision has been made during a meeting between the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Islamabad Khazar Farhadov and Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Economy Ayaz Sadig in Islamabad this week.

Minister Sadig expressed his desire to enhance cooperation for facilitating the signing of an intergovernmental agreement in the energy sector of Azerbaijan. He added that trade and cooperation between the two countries is constantly growing.

Both sides agreed to expand cooperation in many areas and hold regular meetings of the relative Joint Working Group.
