Political analyst: Armenia to be divided among neighbouring countries
Armenian political analyst Alen Ghevondyan has stated that Armenia has become a tool against the regional countries thanks to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and this might stipulate the country's division among neighbours.
“In this context, the future plans give rise to worse forecasts as Armenia, both politically and perhaps, in terms of territory, will be divided among neighbouring countries, which will be stipulated by the interests of their national security,” he said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
“The West will provoke the situation and, of course, after having failed, it will step aside. Afterwards, the Armenian political field, according to tradition, will begin to curse fate, forgetting that the thinking organ is the brain, and it must be used within realism rather than within maximalism. I suppose that some Armenian districts will pass into joint administration. Moreover, at least one more foreign armed contingent will be deployed in Armenia,” he wrote.
“It is clear that nothing will remain. At the same time, the Armenian leadership does not say that, besides confrontation with Russia, it is giving up the territory for a possible launch of an operation against Iran,” the political analyst wrote.
