Population still decreasing in Armenia

The population is still decreasing in Armenia during the year.

According to the Armenian Statistical Committee, the permanent population was 2,961,900 as of July 1, 2022, including 1,890,200 citizens and 1,71,700 rural people, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.

The permanent population of the Republic of Armenia was 2,964,600 in 2021, that is, the population decreased by 2,700 people over the year.

The population of Yerevan has decreased by 4,000 people. The population was 1,96,100 as of July 1, 2021, while for the same period of this year – 1,92,100 people.
