President Tokayev instructs Kazakh authorities to reduce inflation

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has given instructions to reduce inflation and ensure a favourable investment climate.

President Tokayev held a meeting with Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov and discussed topical issues in the economic sphere, according to the message posted on the Kazakh president’s website.

“The president instructed the government to take comprehensive measures to implement the election programme, as well as the country’s macroeconomic plans and social obligations,” the president noted.

Moreover, the authorities were instructed to improve the situation in the healthcare sector.

Another important issue was the control over the heating season in Kazakhstan.
