Pro-Pashinyan Telegram channel blames notorious blogger for "hyping on Armenian tragedy"
On August 17, an explosion occurred in the Surmalu shopping centre in Yerevan, specialising in the wholesale of various goods and products. According to the latest Armenian media reports, six people were killed, and 17 are missing.
Of course, this event was not ignored by Russian propagandists. Thus, the infamous "military blogger", the author of the Wargonzo project, Semyon Pegov, who during the 44-day war screamed about the "victories" of the Armenian army and the "flee" of Azerbaijani troops, published a post on his Telegram channel about the alleged rescue of a four-year-old girl, who was subsequently taken to an unknown destination.
"Information has been received that the Armenian Health Ministry refutes information about the deceased girl. However, our sources claim that one of the eyewitnesses took out a bleeding child from under the rubble. The pulse was not felt at that time. Ambulances have not yet arrived at the scene. The girl was taken away in a police car. In any case, we are waiting for more specific data on the explosion," the Russian propagandist wrote.
The pro-Pashinyan telegram channel "Baghramyan 26" criticized Semyon Pegov's statement, calling him a populist "who decided to hype on the Armenian tragedy".
"Apparently, 1 million subscribers are too few for Semyon Pegov and the WarGonzo project and it was necessary to hype on the Armenian tragedy. Armenians (like many others) continue to read this channel and believe every nonsense of this garbage dump with their 'sources'," Pashinyan's supporters write.
To recap, during the Second Karabakh War, both of these channels closely cooperated and reprinted posts from each other, not to mention the Armenian citizens themselves, who believed any nonsense of Semyon Pegov and took his insinuations at face value.
