Retribution for “Krasnodar is Armenia” Armenian separatist-champion arrested in Russia PHOTO/VIDEO
The Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar has placed blogger and world bench press champion Vladimir Vanyan (born in 1989) under arrest. He had previously made public statements claiming that “Karabakh and Krasnodar are Armenia” and had insulted the FSB and participants of the “Special Military Operation” (SMO).
“What SMO? Here, we have barbecue, cognac, and whiskey every day,” the blogger said on camera.
Not even his friends, who were with him at the gathering, could stop his stream of obscene (and unreasonable) remarks. In the video, they can be heard repeatedly asking Vanyan to calm down “as brothers,” but he responded that he did not care about anything.
The very next day, Vanyan was detained, with one of the police officers delivering a strong kick to his stomach while he was lying on the ground.
Shortly after, a video surfaced showing Vanyan apologizing—this time, without his beard.
The blogger has been sentenced to 13 days of arrest for disobeying the police. He has also been charged with petty hooliganism and discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.
