Russia presents locally-made attack drone Supercam
In addition to the Lancet and Geranium, known to a wide range of readers, the Russian army is planning to have another unmanned model of domestic engineering concept.
As reported by Overclockers, this was announced by the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov.
According to him, weapons designers have created a new UAV called Supercam.
In addition, the newly created project involves two models with different military specifications. The first model will be purely combat and equipped with a powerful explosive charge and designed to hit the enemy by the type of barrage munition. The second "reusable" variant is a reconnaissance air vehicle.
At the moment, Supercam in the method of a kamikaze drone has been sent to the test site, where it performs test flights.
According to Chemezov, an important quality that has emerged in the advanced drone is its radio-electronic resistance to directional radiation from the enemy's electronic warfare systems.
It is during combat flight that the munition's microchips are difficult to suppress, and the device itself is difficult to disrupt from its combat course.
