Russia shoots down 24 drones over Novgorod region overnight

Russian air defence forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 24 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Novgorod Region during the night of April 3, Governor Alexander Dronov announced on his Telegram channel.

“Last night, air defence units eliminated 24 UAVs over the Novgorod Region,” Dronov said. He also expressed gratitude to the military, adding, “The professional efforts of fighter aviation and air defence units once again repelled the attack.”

The governor advised residents to avoid approaching or handling any drone debris and to immediately report findings to emergency services by calling 112.
