Russia, Türkiye discuss safe exit of Turkish ships from Ukraine

Delegations of the Defence Ministries of Russia and Türkiye have held talks in Moscow.

The parties discussed scenarios for the safe exit of Turkish merchant ships from the ports of Ukraine and the safe export of grain, Kommersant reports referring to the press service of the Russian Defence Ministry.

During the talks, the military discussed approaches to ensuring safe navigation in the Black Sea. Separately, the delegations discussed the safe exit of the Turkish cargo ship Azov Concorde from the port of Mariupol. "Following the results, an agreement was reached to continue consultations," Russia’s Defence specified.
