Several people injured in drone attack on Russia's Tatarstan PHOTO/VIDEO
The morning of April 2 saw Russian authorities announcing a drone attack in Tatarstan.
According to Caliber.Az, citing Russian media, the attack targeted "enterprises in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk."
There have been reports of casualties, but no significant damage has been done, and the technological process remains uninterrupted.
It is worth noting that a factory for the production of "Geran-2/1" drones, similar to Iran's Shahed-136/131, is located in the special economic zone of industrial production called "Alabuga."
The Russian army has been known to use these drones to strike both military and civilian targets in Ukraine.
The available data suggests that these enterprises were the primary targets of the attack that took place today.
Yelabuga is approximately 1400 kilometres away from the border with Ukraine.
The information is still being verified.
