Slovak, Swedish embassies take on NATO coordination role in Azerbaijan PHOTO

The embassies of Slovakia and Sweden will fulfil the role of NATO coordinator in Azerbaijan facilitating the Alliance's outreach efforts and strengthening partnerships with the country throughout 2025-2026.

“The Embassy of Slovakia and the Embassy of Sweden are happy to announce that as from January 1 they are fulfilling the role of Contact Point Embassies for NATO in Azerbaijan for 2025-2026,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the FB page of the Swedish embassy in Baku.

"Ambassador Lajčiak and Ambassador Lorentzson are looking forward to supporting NATO’s outreach efforts and other partnership activities in Azerbaijan, in close cooperation with Azerbaijani counterparts," the embassy wrote.
