Speaker: Azerbaijani MPs ask foreign minister to terminate agreements with US And suspend projects with USAID

Azerbaijani MPs have asked Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to terminate agreements with the US and suspend USAID projects, Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova said.

She made the remarks at a session of the Parliament on October 8, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Gafarova noted that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner: “Azerbaijan is a country that pursues an independent domestic and foreign policy, has ensured its territorial integrity and sovereignty by its own efforts. I remind President Ilham Aliyev's statement: No one can dictate anything to us and interfere in our internal affairs. We will do what we consider necessary.”
