Team of Azerbaijani journalists ranks third at football tournament in Georgia

A football tournament among sports journalists dedicated to the memory of famous commentator Kote Makharadze has ended in Georgia.

The Azerbaijani national team beat the team of Romania (5:0), lost to the Georgian team (1:4) and beat the second team of Kazakhstan (1:0) at the beginning of the tournament, azerisport.com reports.

Azerbaijan lost to the first team of Kazakhstan (0:2) in the semi-finals and ranked third. The team of Kazakhstan became the champion.

Azerbaijan was represented by the team of the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association.
