Turkish hub rep: BNPL system may be implemented in Azerbaijan

Ilgit Sahin, legal partner of the Turkish Ftihub:FinTech Innovation Hub company, who is participating in the Azerbaijani-Turkish fintech forum in Baku, has said that the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) system may be implemented in Azerbaijani fintech, banking and financial institutions.

“Electronic money operators cannot issue loans in Türkiye, while they are issued in Azerbaijan. This facilitates the introduction of the BNPL system by electronic money operators,” Sahin told Report.
