Türkiye detains 42 suspects involved in organised crimes
Turkish security forces have carried out KAFES-44 operation in nine provinces of Türkiye against an armed crime organisation led by international drug trafficker Urfi Çetinkaya (in prison), nicknamed the "Turkish Escobar".
Turkish Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made a post on his X account in this regard, Caliber.Az reports.

"As a result of the operation, 42 suspects, members of an armed organised criminal organisation, including Rustem and Hakan Çetinkaya, who were wanted by the US under Interpol's Red Notice, were detained.
The searches conducted during the operations discovered a large number of pistols, automatic weapons and foreign currency," the statement said.
