UNESCO goodwill ambassador visits Nizami Ganjavi Int’l Centre
Goodwill Ambassador and UNESCO Special Representative for Cultural Diplomacy Hedva Ser has visited the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre in Baku, Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the results of the 9th Global Baku Forum, the process of preparation for the 10th Global Baku Forum, and the activities of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre on promoting tolerance, mutual understanding between different religions and cultures, cooperation with UNICEF were discussed, Report informs.
The goodwill ambassador was presented with the book “The Magic of the Pen: Select Miniatures from the Khamsa of Nizami Ganjavi”, dedicated to the 880th anniversary of great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi.
The centre will celebrate its 10th anniversary in September. It is an international organization that promotes the principles of diversity, tolerance, dialogue, and mutual understanding.
