WB ready to fund Azerbaijan's smart village projects

If Azerbaijan wishes, the World Bank can help with financing smart village projects.

World Bank's Country Manager for Azerbaijan Stefanie Stallmeister told Report.

“We are supporting the creation of smart villages in Azerbaijan. And the issue of financing these villages is within the competence of the state. If Azerbaijan wishes, we will be happy to provide support. This is a successful approach from the point of view of the development of non-governmental organizations. But this depends on the decision of the state,” she said.
