Trucks with flour wait for third day on Aghdam-Khankendi road

01 September 2023 09:55

A convoy with 40 tons of flour products sent by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society for the needs of people of Armenian origin living in Azerbaijan’s Garabagh region, which left Baku ON August 29, is waiting on the Aghdam-Khankendi road for the third day in a row.

Two TIR trucks with 40 tons of flour have been waiting in front of the Russian peacekeepers' post on the Aghdam-Khankendi road for three days now, Report informs.

Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society staff and volunteers slept and rested during the day in tents set up on the territory. The members of the Society presented the quality certificate of their delivered cargo to the representatives of the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent.

This once again proves that Armenia and the separatist regime created and supported by it in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan are purposefully creating artificial obstacles to the use of the Aghdam-Khankendi road.

The news of the Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society to dispatch a caravan of food aid from Baku to Aghdam hit the headlines on August 29 whereas a decision to send the aid to Garabagh Armenians was taken by the board of the Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society on August 21 as the society chairman said.
