Ambassador: Uzbekistan interested in strengthening cooperation with the Baku Port

Uzbekistan is interested in further strengthening the existing cooperation with the Baku Port, Uzbek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bahram Ashrafkhanov said at the meeting with the General Director of the Baku International Commercial Sea Port Taleh Ziyadov, Trend reports.

According to the Ambassador, the Baku Port has successfully passed a great way of development for a short period of time.

"Strengthening the existing cooperation in the sphere of international and multimodal transportation will create important opportunities for further growth of high-speed and combined cargo transportation." 

Taleh Ziyadov, in turn, noted that the Baku Port plays an important role in the Trans-Caspian international transport route and the activities carried out in the field of logistics for the effective work of the port's business partners.
