Armenian PM Pashinyan accuses Russia of failing obligations
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has levelled accusations against Russia, claiming that the latter has not fulfilled its obligations toward Armenia.
Pashinyan's assertion was made in a video clip published on his official Telegram channel, as reported by TASS.
"We have done nothing wrong in relations with Russia. Our Russian partners can't show us anything and say: 'Here you had obligations and you didn't fulfil them.' But we can show and we do. We raise legitimate questions and expect full answers to them. As long as there are no such answers, no matter what is said, the issue will not be resolved," Pashinyan stated,
The Armenian Prime Minister's remarks come amid strained relations between the two countries and ongoing geopolitical tensions in the region. Pashinyan's comments imply dissatisfaction with the perceived lack of support or fulfilment of agreements from Russia, a crucial ally to Armenia.
