Azerbaijan highlights green energy transition at EBRD annual meeting

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, shared insights on social media from the panel "Azerbaijan: Emerging Gateway to Green Growth and Connectivity" at the EBRD Annual Meeting in London.

In his post on platform X, Jabbarov outlined Azerbaijan's role in the green energy sector, particularly regarding regional economic integration, Caliber.Az reports.

He noted: “Within the framework of the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development EBRD, we participated in the 'Azerbaijan: Emerging Gateway to Green Growth and Connectivity' investment outlook session. We emphasized the strategic position of Azerbaijan in the Green Energy Corridor, which plays a significant role in reinforcing regional economic integration and shared values.”

The minister also highlighted Azerbaijan's commitment to the green energy transition, sharing the country's progress in attracting private sector investments and advancing sustainable energy production. 

“We also presented insights on the effective implementation of the green energy transition in our country, highlighting progress in attracting private sector investments and advancing sustainable energy production.”
