Azerbaijan's Health Ministry brings specialized medical care to Khankendi PHOTO
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Health has continued its efforts to improve access to high-quality, specialized healthcare for residents of the country's liberated territories by organizing another mobile medical outreach campaign in Khankendi.
As Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry's press service, the initiative was conducted as part of the state Great Return program and involved specialists from the Ministry of Health's Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics.
During the campaign, around 80 residents of Khankendi received consultations from medical professionals representing a range of specialties and benefited from comprehensive healthcare services.
The outreach team included trauma and orthopedic specialists, physiotherapists, a pediatrician, and an infectious disease specialist. Medical examinations focused on diagnosing musculoskeletal disorders, bone and joint conditions, spinal problems, post-traumatic complications, infectious diseases, and assessing the health of children.
Following the examinations, each participant received individualized medical recommendations based on their condition, while primary healthcare services were provided whenever necessary. Physiotherapists also offered advice on rehabilitation programs and measures aimed at restoring mobility and improving physical function.
The Ministry of Health said the mobile medical campaigns are designed to safeguard the health of people residing in the liberated territories, promote the early detection of diseases, expand access to specialized medical care, and reinforce the social component of the Great Return program.
