Azerbaijani minister, innovation ecosystem participants discuss ICT opportunities for entrepreneurs PHOTO

Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev and active participants involved in the innovation ecosystem discussed the wide opportunities created for entrepreneurs as a result of the incentives applied to the ICT sector in Azerbaijan.

The representatives of the local startup community, heads of companies supporting innovative solutions and the development of the digital environment, as well as representatives of official agencies and public representatives attended the event, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told Report.

The views on the current innovation and startup ecosystem, modern challenges, and problems were exchanged during the meeting.

In his speech, the minister spoke about the work carried out to develop and strengthen the ecosystem, the strategies which are applied in this sphere, and stressed the importance of new opportunities created in ICT.

Representative of Ernst and Young company Arzu Hajiyeva held a presentation on amendments to legislation in connection with the development of a technological ecosystem in Azerbaijan.

The event participants hold interactive discussions.

The minister and other officials answered questions regarding the ongoing processes in the ecosystem, reforms to create a new business environment, tax incentives for innovative companies, etc.
