Azerbaijani parliament discusses Lachin road situation
Chairman of the Azerbaijani parliamentary Defence, Security and Counter-Corruption Committee Ziyafat Asgarov has said that the views on the current situation on the Lachin road were exchanged at the first meeting of the autumn session of the committee.
“Armenia has turned the food issue into a tool against Azerbaijan,” Asgarov noted, according to Report.
“Food crisis in Garabagh is out of question today. The Armenians living there have no problems with food. The Armenians act this way under pressure from certain countries and organisations to disrupt peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia for this issue to be dragged on and the agreement not to be signed. All this shows that Armenia is not interested in regional security,” he added.
