Azerbaijanis of Moscow provide assistance to Turkish brothers
For the second day Azerbaijanis in Moscow have been providing humanitarian aid to victims of the earthquake in Türkiye, bringing necessary things from the list presented by the Embassy of the Turkish Republic, and also laying flowers and toys at the memorial plaque.
According to Report, chairman of the council of the regional national cultural autonomy of Azerbaijanis of Moscow Bakhtiyar Hasanov met Turkish Ambassador to Russia Mehmet Samsar.
During the meeting, Hasanov spoke about Azerbaijanis helping Türkiye: "Our compatriots immediately came to the aid. We are obliged to be next to Türkiye in these days, to share the pain and help as much as we can. A number of concrete steps have already been taken for this purpose, and initiatives aimed at continuing the humanitarian assistance are being implemented".
Oktay Huseynov, chairman of the Azerbaijani Society in Moscow, noted that Türkiye is experiencing tragic days: "We have come to share the pain at the embassy and try to help Türkiye with everything we can.
