The first child in Azerbaijan in 2024 was born at the New Clinic Hospital under the Association for the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB).

The girl, weighing 2.580 kg and 45 cm tall, was born through cesarean section at 00:01 (GMT+4), TABIB told Report.

The surgery was successful, and the health condition of the mother and newborn is stable.
