Baku to host international exhibitions of agriculture and food industry
The 16th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition Caspian Agro and the 28th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition InterFood Azerbaijan will be held at Baku Expo Center on May 17-19.
Report informs, citing the organizer company that just like a year back, the event will set a record for the number of national and regional stands.
Caspian Agro will once again bring together leading players in the agricultural industry, local and foreign specialists, including importers, exporters, distributors of agricultural products, representatives of wholesale and retail trade, and a large number of visitors. In addition to Azerbaijan, the exhibition will bring together companies from Austria, the UK, Germany, Georgia, Estonia, Israel, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, the USA, Türkiye, and the Czech Republic.
The aim of InterFood Azerbaijan is to present quality products in the market and create direct links between exhibitors and visitors. In addition to Azerbaijan, the exhibition will bring together companies from Belarus, Germany, France, Iran, Italy, China, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Thailand, Türkiye, Sri Lanka, and for the first time Tunisia.
The programme is tailored to the interests of exhibitors and visitors and includes interesting events and topical subjects. The events include an exhibition entitled 'Food is a Work of Art' with decorative food compositions, and the 3rd National Culinary Championship 'Golden Leader - Golden Jubilee' dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Every year, the organizers arrange exhibition tours for farmers from the regions, whereby the event can review the latest industrial novelties, a must-have to fabricate quality agricultural produce. This year, farmers from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic are invited to the tour.
