The diplomatic corps’ official visit to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories of Lachin, Shusha, and Aghdam concluded with a group photo in front of the Aghdam railway station, Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev said.
The delegation gathered to commemorate the end of their tour before boarding the train from Aghdam to Baku, Caliber.Az reports via Hajiyev’s post on X.
"Our trip with the diplomatic corps to Lachin-Shusha-Agdam comes to an end with the family photo in front of Agdam railway station before to embark on a Agdam-Baku train," he wrote.

The delegation then travelled from Aghdam to Baku aboard the country’s high-speed train.
The visit highlighted Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to rebuild and develop infrastructure in the Karabakh region following recent restoration initiatives.
The trip allowed diplomats to witness firsthand the progress in these historically significant areas, underlining Azerbaijan’s commitment to economic revival and cultural preservation in the liberated territories. They observed the progress made in rebuilding critical infrastructure, including roads, railways, and industrial facilities, which are central to Azerbaijan’s plans to revive the region’s economy and improve connectivity.
