EU monitoring team carrying out round-the-clock patrolling on Armenian-Azerbaijani border
The EU Monitoring Mission in Armenia has said it is carrying out round-the-clock patrols in the border areas on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and on the line of confrontation to monitor any military developments, including accumulations, movements and shooting incidents.
“We patrol day & night at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border areas & line of confrontation to observe any military development, inc. amassment, movement, or shootings. EUMA reinforced patrols in the areas of greater concern to EU report on the situation & contribute to calming the tensions,” the mission made the remarks on their social network X, Caliber.Az reports.
The publication said the EU Monitoring Mission in Armenia has intensified patrolling and thus contributed to the reduction of tension in the territories of the EU's greatest concern.
