Great Return: Azerbaijani families receive keys to new homes in Khidirli PHOTO
Families returning to the village of Khidirli in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district have been handed the keys to their new homes.
At this stage, 15 families, comprising 57 people, have been resettled in the village as part of the government’s Great Return initiative, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
These households are former internally displaced persons who had previously been temporarily accommodated in various regions of the country, including dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
The key-handover ceremony was attended by officials from the Special Presidential Representative Office for the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
