Investments in oil and gas dropped sharply in Azerbaijan

In the first quarter of this year, the volume of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the economy of Azerbaijan amounted to 1.8 billion US dollars.

This is 28.6% more than in 2020, Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In the first quarter, the share of the oil and gas sector in investments amounted to 59.5 per cent, which is 29.7 per cent less than a year ago.
