Iran to consider joint automobile manufacturing with Russia

Tehran does not exclude the possibility of creating a joint venture for the production of cars with Russia.

As reported by Gazeta.Ru, an official Representative of the Iranian Ministry of Trade, Omid Galibaf, stated, that "The joint automobile manufacturing and opening of a factory in Iran or Russia will depend on how successfully we will be able to export our cars to Russia, access its market and on how well Iranian car models will be perceived in Russia".

According to him, once those details are received, Iran will start evaluating this investment into the joint production and development of cars in Russia.
