SOCAR, Brookfield discuss introduction of clean and digital energy technologies PHOTO
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and one of the world's largest investment companies Brookfield have held an exchange of views on the application of clean and digital energy technologies.
The exchange of views took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Brookfield Managing Partner and Head of Middle East Jud Ellawn, Report informs with reference to SOCAR.
The meeting also provided detailed information on infrastructure projects being implemented by Brookfield in various countries.
The meeting discussed SOCAR's long-term corporate strategy, in which such key elements as energy security, energy transition, digitalisation, business sustainability, efficiency, and optimisation were identified as priority areas.
The parties discussed the favourable investment climate created in Azerbaijan for foreign investors, and exchanged views on decarbonisation, infrastructure projects, and other issues of mutual interest.
