Azerbaijan Investment Forum eyes Baku’s regional role, economic diversification
Baku has hosted the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, where participants discussed the country’s strategic role in regional cooperation, efforts to diversify its economy, and commitment to innovation.
The plenary session, held under the theme “Azerbaijan and Beyond: Bridging Regions, Building Futures,” brought together high-level officials, representatives of international financial institutions, think tanks, business leaders, and global investors, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikhail Jabbarov wrote on his X page, Caliber.Az reports.

Jabbarov noted that the discussions focused on Azerbaijan’s contributions to regional connectivity and its adaptive approaches to emerging economic challenges amid shifting geopolitical realities.
The forum will conclude on September 23.
