SOCAR, Hungarian oil company discuss prospects of cooperation

Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) President Rovshan Najaf and Hungarian MOL Group Executive Vice President for Strategic Operations and Corporate Development Györdem Bacha have discussed existing and potential opportunities for cooperation.

At the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, Report informs with reference to SOCAR.

It was emphasised that bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary is successfully developing in various directions, including in the energy sector.

In particular, satisfaction was expressed with the long-term cooperation, fruitful partnership relations with MOL Group, the successful participation of MOL Group in the projects of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline and Azeri-Chirag-Deep Gunashli pipeline, as well as its valuable contribution to the development of Azerbaijan's oil and gas industry was noted.
