Illegal Armenian groups shell Azerbaijani positions in Shusha, Khojaly

From 04: 20 to 13: 55 on June 4, illegal Armenian armed detachments on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, fired at the Azerbaijani army positions in the direction of the Shusha and Khojaly districts.

Azerbaijan's army units have taken adequate response measures in these areas, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry press service.

"Moreover, at about 12:20, members of an illegal Armenian armed detachments attempted to install long-term fortification devices in front of the Azerbaijan Army’s positions stationed in the direction of the Shusha region. The conducted work was immediately stopped as a result of the urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army Units," the ministry said.
