Greece suspends acceptance of documents for visas from Russians
The Greece Visa Application Centre has said that the Greek consulates in Russia’s Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novorossiysk cities will suspend activity.
The activity will be suspended "for technical reasons" from June 27, 2022, for an indefinite period, Caliber.Az reports referring to the Greece Visa Application Centre.
The Association of Tour Operators in Russia (ATOR) said that the visa centre warned about the suspension of the acceptance of documents for visas from Russians on June 24.
One of the tour operator companies told ATOR that the reason for the suspension of work was the renewal of the visa centre system.
“The consulate told one of the tour operators that the process of accepting documents for visas would resume, but the terms were not disclosed,” ATOR said.
