ADEX to bring together more than 200 companies from 26 countries

The 4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition ADEX will be held at the Baku Expo Center from September 6 to 8 on the initiative and with the organizational support of the Ministry of Defence Industry and the support of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The exhibition will be held again after a long break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Defence Industry told Report.

The exhibition of advanced weaponry and equipment ADEX will demonstrate the power and strength of the military-industrial complex of the Republic of Azerbaijan and global companies.

ADEX will bring together over 200 companies from 26 countries and will occupy three pavilions, as well as the open-air site at Baku Expo Center. Exhibitors will include leading defence industry companies from Bulgaria, Italy, China, France, the Netherlands, and other countries. Companies from Jordan will take part in this year's exhibition for the first time. Belarus, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, Türkiye, and other countries will be presented by their national stands.

It should be noted that the special significance of ADEX, held for the first time since Azerbaijan's glorious victory in the Second Karabakh War, is to demonstrate the power of the country's military-industrial complex and modern weapons, which played an exceptional role in the victory of our army.

The stands of the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be placed in the first and third halls of the Baku Expo Center, where the newest samples of weapons and military equipment of domestic production will be displayed. Participants of the event will be able to familiarize themselves with the country's defence complex innovations, as well as the existing and growing capabilities of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.

Large-scale demonstration of the most modern types of weapons at the exhibition ADEX will promote technical re-equipment of the Armed Forces, create conditions for constructive communication, exchange of experience, and establishment of effective links between national and foreign specialists in the military-technical field.

The exhibition will feature aircraft and aviation systems; marine vessels and naval systems; combat vehicles; radio-electronic systems, C4ISR; optronic equipment and systems; unmanned systems; military uniforms and equipment, weapons and ammunition; simulators and training systems; chemical, biological, and radiological protection means (CBR), and military organizations and enterprises to promote export, etc.

The 13th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment "Securex Caspian" will be held in parallel with ADEX, showcasing promising models of weapons and complex protection systems for law enforcement, border, rescue, fire protection, and special services. This exhibition is organized with the support of the Ministry of Defence Industry, State Security Service, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and State Border Guard Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Securex Caspian exhibition will help to create favorable conditions for developing cooperation, and exchange of experience, and serve the solution of applied problems in the field of internal security of the state, society, and citizens. The exhibition will be attended by heads of law enforcement and rescue agencies, emergency and border services of Azerbaijan, international delegations, as well as specialists involved in the security of urban infrastructure, transport, industrial enterprises, etc.
