Azerbaijan, Belarus discuss expanding trade, economic cooperation in Minsk PHOTO
Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has visited Belarus to attend the 16th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, where he discussed expanding ties between the business communities of the two countries.
Sharifov toured the First Regional Trade Centre in Minsk, which showcases products from Belarusian manufacturers, including food, textiles, industrial goods and handicrafts from various regions of the country, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
He also inspected the Azerbaijani Trade House in the Belarusian capital, where he reviewed products under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand, sales performance, and local consumer interest.
The Trade House was described as an important platform for promoting Azerbaijan’s export potential and strengthening business ties between the two countries.
During the visit to the Belarusian trade centre, Sharifov noted the importance of experience-sharing between the two countries in organising domestic markets and promoting local brands.
