Azerbaijan, North Macedonia sign memorandum on cooperation in agriculture

Azerbaijan and North Macedonia have signed a memorandum on cooperation in agriculture.

The memorandum was signed by Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Northern Macedonia Ljupco Nikolovski, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture.

The sides discussed prospects of cooperation between the countries in the agricultural sphere. At the end of the meeting, a memorandum on cooperation in the field of agriculture was signed between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia.

The memorandum envisages the establishment of a joint working group on the agrarian sector between the two countries, expansion of cooperation in the fields of crop production, animal husbandry, agrarian education, training of specialists, land consolidation and other areas.
