Azerbaijan, Poland join forces in anti-doping fight with new agreement
Azerbaijan and Poland have taken a significant step toward cleaner sports by signing a memorandum of understanding between their national anti-doping agencies in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The agreement, signed by Tahmina Taghizadeh, Executive Director of Azerbaijan’s National Anti-Doping Agency, and Michal Rinkowski, Head of Poland’s National Anti-Doping Agency, aims to deepen cooperation, expand scientific research, and enhance education initiatives in the fight against doping, Caliber.Az reports via domestic media.
This partnership will cover results management, testing, training, and innovation, ensuring both nations stay aligned with the World Anti-Doping Code and international standards. By sharing expertise and adopting cutting-edge approaches, Azerbaijan and Poland seek to bolster their anti-doping frameworks and protect the integrity of sports.
Looking ahead, the memorandum also paves the way for future bilateral agreements, allowing both agencies to collaborate on more targeted initiatives, ensuring a systematic and sustainable approach to anti-doping efforts.
With this new alliance, Azerbaijan and Poland reaffirm their commitment to fair play, transparency, and the global fight against doping in sports.
