Azerbaijan to open 40 more jobs in Khankendi by late February New impetus for city
Matin Eynullayev, head of the State Service for Property Issues of Azerbaijan, has said that about 40 more new jobs are planned to be opened in Khankendi by the end of February.
Eynullayev made the remarks at a press conference dedicated to the activity of the State in 2023 and upcoming tasks, Trend reports.
The government official noted that it is planned to restore the work of two automobile gas stations, a mobile operator, a market, a trucking service, a hairdresser's shop and a pharmacy in Khankendi.
"This is the first direction related to life-sustaining industries. The second direction is to achieve the acceleration of construction and rehabilitation works, the provision of raw materials and the reduction of the cost of works carried out in the region by restoring the activities of enterprises for the production and processing of construction materials, and thus saving the state budget.
Currently, two concrete and three marble and stone-granite shops have been selected as operators. Contracts are being concluded with them. By the end of March, it is planned to resume the work of these enterprises and create more than 50 jobs," he added.
As a result of the anti-terrorist operation, the service appealed to business entities regarding the development of entrepreneurship in the liberated lands, including in the city of Khankendi, Eynullayev said.
He added that so far, a total of 107 civil and individual applications have been received.
"We have conditionally divided the areas into three main areas. The first area was life-supporting areas: trade, catering, household services, fuel filling, etc. In this direction, two filling stations have started to operate.
A mobile operator and a bakery have already started operating in Khankendi. 23 people were employed in those facilities. 5 of them (22%) are internally displaced persons," he said
