Azerbaijani film to premiere in international festival in Germany PHOTO

With the support of the Culture Ministry of Azerbaijan, the short film “The Well” produced by the Azerbaijan Film Studio will be presented at the 33rd Cottbus International Film Festival in Germany on November 7-12.

According to Azertag, the film “The Well” will be featured in the EcoEast section of the festival.

The film, which was filmed in the village of Lokbatan and the Ismayilli region of Azerbaijan, reflects the philosophy of human rebirth. A well in a completely dead place means a source of water, which means the rebirth of life. However, the events in the film develop unpredictably and sometimes unexpectedly.

The producers of the film are Fariz Akhmedov, Irada Bagirzadeh, Mushfig Khatamov, and Jamil Guliyev, director and scriptwriter Rufat Rai, image director Nadir Mehdiyev, production designers Rafig Nasirov, Arif Niftiyev, composer Elmir Mirzoyev. The film stars Parviz Mammadrzaev and Shamil Suleymanly.
