Azerbaijani health minister meets Pan-Turkic agency chief, colleagues from OTS
On the fringes of the Turkic World Medical Congress in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev met with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
During the meeting, Kubanychbek Omuraliev expressed his congratulations on the decision to hold a regular meeting of the OTS health ministers in the city of Shusha, Report informs.
The OTS Secretary-General recalled that only in July of 2023, he visited Azerbaijan twice to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Shusha Global Media Forum, stressing that Azerbaijan always organizes various international events at a high level.
Health Minister Teymur Musayev emphasized that as a result of successful activities, the OTS plays an important role in deepening relations, including regional cooperation, between member countries and observer countries.
"Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev highly appreciates the international significance of the Organization of Turkic States, the growth of international prestige and the socio-economic potential of member countries and observer countries."
Teymur Musayev also held bilateral meetings with his counterparts – Uzbek Health Minister Amrillo Inoyatov, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca and Kazakh Health Minister Ajar Giniyat.
During bilateral meetings held in the spirit of constructive dialogue and mutual understanding, the parties discussed new prospects for developing and strengthening ties in the field of healthcare and medical science, as well as the possibility of mutual application of progressive achievements and successful international exchange of experience.
