Croatia reduces imports of Azerbaijani oil amid overall export growth
Between January and October 2025, Azerbaijan exported 1,18 million tons of crude oil to Croatia, valued at $634.65 million, Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee announced.
The figures reveal a decline in both volume and value compared to the same period in 2024, with crude oil shipments to Croatia falling by 13.6% and their monetary worth decreasing by 24.7%, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Crude oil exports to Croatia accounted for 5.72% of Azerbaijan’s total oil exports during this period.
Despite the drop in shipments to Croatia, Azerbaijan’s overall oil and bitumen-based product exports remained robust. From January to October 2025, the country exported a total of 20,7 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products, generating revenue of $10.85 billion.
