Drone attack hits Russian city of Oryol, damaging eight residential buildings VIDEO

A drone attack on the Russian city of Oryol overnight caused damage to several residential buildings, regional authorities reported on November 5.

According to Oryol Region Governor Andrey Klychkov, two jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the city by electronic warfare systems. “Seven private houses and the windows of one apartment building were damaged. There were no casualties,” Klychkov wrote on his Telegram channel, as cited by Interfax.

Emergency services have been deployed to assist residents and assess the extent of the damage. Local authorities said efforts are underway to provide support to affected citizens and restore damaged properties.
