Drone crash reportedly causes explosions in Russia's Kaluga
17 May 2023 12:22
Drones have crashed in Russia's Kaluga region resulting in two explosions, local Telegram channel Shot has reported, citing eyewitnesses to the incident.
"The first strong, the second weaker, eyewitnesses told us," the publication said.
The wreckage of the fallen drones is scattered on the 380th kilometre of the A-108 highway. It is reported that presumably the drone could have been shot down by an anti-aircraft defence (AAD) system.
Earlier, Shot reported that a Ukrainian drone, according to preliminary information, dropped two munitions on a road checkpoint at Shebekino in the Belgorod region at night, resulting in a fire. The fire, which occurred after the dropping of the two munitions, was soon extinguished.
