Earthquake strikes Caspian Sea with epicentre 12 km deep

A magnitude 3.3 earthquake occurred in the Caspian Sea, with the epicentre located at a depth of 12 kilometres, the Republican Seismic Survey Centre under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences announced.
The tremors were recorded at 02:17 local time, Caliber.Az reports.
Earlier, on April 8, four earthquakes were registered in the Caspian Sea, with the largest reaching a magnitude of 5.3.
