The railway passing through the Hakari station will form part of the Zangezur Corridor — including its 42nd section, known as TRIPP, which will cross Armenian territory — connecting mainland Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The programme also includes planned visits to major infrastructure facilities such as the Dost Agropark livestock complex in Zangilan, the Hakkari railway station, and several newly built social facilities – including a residential complex, a school, a kindergarten, and a mosque in the city of Zangilan.
Officials say the visit offers diplomats an opportunity to see the scale of Azerbaijan’s reconstruction efforts first-hand, assess the region’s development potential, and witness the government’s commitment to sustainable recovery and reintegration of the liberated territories.
